Style

Punk led by palm-muted power chords and a punchy drum beat; raw tape saturation roughens the edges; bright, clear-toned female vocals in German span a wide range, climbing into top notes; driving pace, repeated refrains and a brief bridge.

Lyrics

Strophe 1

Hoch oben auf dem Obersalzberg,

da stand ein Haus aus alter Zeit.

Ein Denkmal für den Größenwahn,

ein Zeugnis brauner Grausamkeit.

Doch plötzlich steigt dort Rauch empor,

der braune Stammtisch ist empört.

Ein alter Nazi schreit entsetzt:

„Wer hat denn unser Haus zerstört?!“

Refrain

Das Teehaus brennt, der Nazi flennt,

Das Teehaus brennt, der Nazi flennt!

Strophe 2

Der Adolf war dort selten Gast,

doch das ist seinen Fans egal.

Sie weinen um den Adlerhorst,

und wimmern laut im Jammertal.

Im Internet herrscht Trauerstimmung,

die braune Szene ist verstört.

Ein Kamerad schreibt unter Tränen:

„Das deutsche Erbe wird zerstört!“

Refrain

Das Teehaus brennt, der Nazi flennt,

Das Teehaus brennt, der Nazi flennt!

Strophe 3

Ein Reichsbürger sitzt vor dem Schirm,

sein Weltbild hat 'nen schweren Schaden.

Er hebt zum letzten Führergruß

die Tasse mit dem Kräutertee.

„Das ist doch unser Heiligtum!

Das darf doch nicht in Flammen steh'n!“

Sein linker Nachbar grinst und fragt ihn trocken:

"Willst du nen Tee, mein Freund?“

Bridge

Kein tausendjähriges Reich mehr da,

kein Führer und kein Wunder.

Die Berge stehen immer noch,

braune Träume geh'n unter!

Refrain

Das Teehaus brennt, der Nazi flennt,

Das Teehaus brennt, der Nazi flennt!
