How to Find and Copy a Suno Song Link

Every Suno track has a public song link. Here is where to find it on the Suno website and mobile app, how to copy it correctly, and which links the downloader can and cannot read.

Suno Music Downloader works from one thing: the public link of a song on suno.com. Paste it, and the tool shows you the cover, style tags, and lyrics, then lets you download the audio after you sign in.

The tricky part is that Suno gives you several different ways to share a track, and not all of them produce the same kind of link. This guide walks through each place you can grab a song link, shows what a valid link looks like, and explains which links won’t work and how to fix them.

A valid song link always follows this pattern:

https://suno.com/song/9f84e7c7-bb9b-4646-b9a6-9b06f37470f5

Three things to notice:

  • It starts with https://suno.com/song/ — not www.suno.com, not app.suno.com.
  • After /song/ comes a long ID made of letters, numbers, and four hyphens. This is the track’s unique identifier. It is always the same length.
  • Anything after the ID (for example ?sh=abc123) is a tracking parameter added by Suno’s Share button. The downloader ignores it, so you don’t need to trim it off.

Suno also hands out short share links such as https://suno.com/s/htrR5vlSCxATy77v, mostly from the mobile app. The downloader accepts those as-is and expands them to the full song link for you.

If your link matches either shape, you’re good. If it doesn’t, one of the sections below will show you how to get to the right URL.

This is the most reliable method and works on any computer.

  1. Open suno.com in your browser and sign in if you need to.
  2. Find the track you want. It can be in your own Library, on the Explore page, or on another creator’s profile.
  3. Click the song’s title (not the play button). This opens the song’s dedicated page.

  1. Look at the address bar at the top of the browser. It will show a URL that starts with https://suno.com/song/.
  2. Click inside the address bar, press Ctrl+A (or ⌘+A on Mac) to select everything, then Ctrl+C / ⌘+C to copy.

That’s it. Paste the link into the downloader.

Tip: If the address bar still shows suno.com/create or suno.com/me, you haven't opened the song page yet. Clicking the play button plays the track inline without changing the URL; you need to click the title.

Method 2: Use Share → Copy Link on the song page

Once you’re on a song page, Suno can copy the link for you. The option lives inside the ⋯ (more) menu next to the like and dislike buttons.

  1. Open the song page as described above.
  2. Click the ⋯ button in the row of controls under the title.
  3. Hover Share, then click Copy Link.

The copied URL is the same song link, sometimes with a ?sh=... suffix. Paste it as-is; the downloader reads the song ID and skips the rest. The small arrow icon in the second row of buttons is a quick-share shortcut that behaves the same way.

Method 3: From the ⋯ menu in your Library

If you want to grab a link without leaving your Library or the Create page:

  1. Hover over the track in the list. A ⋯ button appears at the right end of the row.
  2. Click it, then hover Share.
  3. Click Copy Link.

This gives you the same https://suno.com/song/... URL as the song page does.

Make sure the song is public

Freshly generated songs are private until you publish them. The downloader only reads public songs, so if you’re downloading your own new track, publish it first.

Once published, the menu item disappears and the link will parse. Other people’s songs that you can open while signed out are already public.

Method 4: From the Suno mobile app

On iPhone or Android, the Suno app shares links through the system share sheet.

  1. Open the track in the app.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. In the share sheet, tap Copy (or Copy link).
  4. Switch to your browser, open the downloader, and paste.

Short links are fine. Mobile shares usually produce a shortened URL such as https://suno.com/s/AbC123. Paste it directly; the downloader follows the redirect and finds the song for you. If it reports that the link doesn't point to a public song, the track is private or was deleted.

Method 5: Getting a single song out of a playlist

Playlist links look like https://suno.com/playlist/... and cannot be pasted directly. The downloader works one track at a time.

  1. Open the playlist.
  2. Click the title of the song you want. This opens its own song page.
  3. Copy the URL from the address bar as in Method 1.

Quick check before you paste

Before pasting into the downloader, ask three questions:

  1. Does it start with https://suno.com/song/ or https://suno.com/s/?
  2. For a /song/ link, is there a long hyphenated ID right after it?
  3. Is the song public on Suno? (If you can open it in a private browser window, it is.)

If all three are yes, the downloader will parse it. If parsing still fails, wait a moment and try again; Suno occasionally rate-limits requests during busy periods.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paste multiple links at once? Not yet. Paste one song link, download, then paste the next.

Does the link expire? No. A song link stays valid as long as the track exists and is public.

Do I need to be signed in to Suno? No. You only need to be signed in to Suno to find your own tracks. The downloader itself uses the public link and never touches your Suno account.

Can I download songs I didn’t create? Only if the creator has allowed it and your use complies with Suno’s Terms of Service. Please read our Terms before downloading anything you don’t own.
