How to read and save the lyrics of any public Suno song

Three steps, about a minute, no Suno account required.

  1. 1

    Paste the Suno link

Use the song URL from suno.com or a suno.com/s/ share link.

  2. 2

    Read the lyrics

The full lyrics appear under the track card, split into the sections the creator wrote — no sign-in needed to read them.

  3. 3

    Save as .txt

Sign in with Google and click Lyrics (.txt). The file is named after the song and does not count against your daily quota.

Where the lyrics come from

Every published Suno song has a public page that includes the prompt lyrics the creator wrote (or Suno generated). This tool reads that page — the same one you see in a browser — and shows the lyrics exactly as stored, including section tags like [Verse 1], [Chorus] and [Outro]. It does not transcribe the audio, so what you get is the written lyric sheet, not a speech-to-text guess.

Instrumental tracks often have an empty lyric box. In that case the file still includes the full Style of Music prompt — the sound description the creator wrote — so there is something to save.

What the .txt file looks like

Plain UTF-8 text. After a three-line header (title, creator, source link) the file keeps Style, optional Idea (Simple mode's original description, when Suno stored one), and Lyrics as separate labelled blocks. Lyric section headers stay on their own lines. It opens in Notes, Word, Google Docs or any lyric-video tool. Non-Latin scripts (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Cyrillic) are preserved as written.

Whose lyrics can you save?

Only public songs. The tool never signs in to Suno and cannot see private or unpublished tracks — if the song is yours, publish it first from its ⋯ menu. Lyrics belong to whoever wrote them; save your own, or use others' with permission or for personal reference. Along with the lyrics you can also grab the cover art and the audio as MP3 or WAV.

Suno Lyrics Download FAQ

Do I need to sign in to read the lyrics?

No. Parsing a link and reading the lyrics on the page is free and needs no account. Google sign-in is only required to download files.

Does saving lyrics use a download slot?

No. Lyrics and cover art downloads are free and unlimited; only audio downloads count against the daily quota.

Are the section tags included?

Yes. [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge] and any other tags the creator used are kept as their own lines in the text file.

Can it transcribe lyrics from the audio?

No. It shows the lyric text stored on the song page. If the creator left it blank, or the track is instrumental, the .txt still includes the Style of Music prompt when Suno stored one.
