Style

Melodic hip-hop, boom bap: studio-recorded, Dolby Atmos mix with lofi grain, metallic percussion, and dark tunnel space; ethereal synth pads, bass-reinforced kick on a prominent word every bar, dark pipes lead, desert-toned cosmic FX; clean male vocals with vocal fry, breathy phrase endings, and improvisational runs; vivace pulse, chilled yet powerful.

Lyrics

Cruisin' all the way down south

I found cactus in the mirror

So damn baby, I want to see this

It's been too much time, I've been that city

All the way from my home

I can't be, ain't no boat

Dying up for the sun

And run up the sun

Used to tell my mama every day

I love you so much, so much

I can't pray anymore

And you're my mama, mo'

And you used to tell me I would be alright

And I don't think they're right

There seems to be something now right

Well, all of it's here

Mama told me I would be afraid

She told me to stay away

Come on, the crazy things I do

And I'm not here with you

I'm wanted alive

I want it to know time

You know what I'm looking for

You said you'd call me up today

You are the certain kind of way

I know you don't understand it all

'Cause you're crazy sometimes

I know it's best to just go on

If you gotta think a lot about what you're doing

Think about every single time you fell down

And pick yourself back up from the ground

Up from the ground, you're finding heart

Just style

You know what I…, what I found…

Found

I found

Oh, I found

I found you

Oh, I found you

Now what am I, what am I going to do…
