Lyrics

I remember watching Dragonball Z as a kid

ha, remember Goku, Vegeta, even Brolly

Saiyan power with the spiky blonde hair,

yea those were the days

the easy days when I was a kid watching TV

every new opponent arrived convinced

that they represented the pinnacle of power.

Frieza I remember Frieza,

but Goku turned Super Saiyan

and made the spirit bomb.

I remember when he turned super Saiyan two

I remember Hercule called him Mr. Satan

surrounded by literal gods

and planet-destroying aliens

and warriors who could obliterate mountains with their fingertips

yet he convinced the world he was

its greatest champion.

yea those were the days

the easy days when I was a kid watching TV

I remember Majin Buu and so many forms

thought the world was cooked

but Goku turned Super Saiyan three

The hair extended halfway down Goku's back,

I knew that Goku would find a way

to save us all again,

yea those were the days

the easy days when I was a kid watching TV

yea those were the days

the easy days when I was a kid watching TV
