like u. lyrics

[Intro]

Ooh, yeah

I've been waiting all this time

For somebody to change my mind

[Hook]

'Cause I-

I've been waiting for someone like you

Like you

I-

I've been waiting for someone like you

Like you

Yeah, you got me feeling something new

Something new, something new

I don't wanna waste another night

If it's you, if it's you

Like you

[Verse]

Lately I’ve been out my mind

Rather lose my patience, then waste my time

Waiting for someone like you, all my life

Know what I want, baby

don’t act surprised

When we ride

I want you by my side

Take you for a late night drive

Forget about lies and all the fights

[Hook]

'Cause I-

I've been waiting for someone like you

Like you

I-

I've been waiting for someone like you

Like you

Yeah, you got me feeling something new

Something new, something new

I don't wanna waste another night

If it's you, if it's you

Like you

[Verse]

I wasn't looking when you came around

Can't seem to keep my feet on the ground

The way you move got me feeling alive

You got my heartbeat running wild

And I like it, I like it

I can't hide it, can't hide it

Somethin 'bout you I can't deny

Girl, you got me losing my mind

[Hook]

'Cause I-

I've been waiting for someone like you

Like you

I-

I've been waiting for someone like you

Like you

Yeah, you got me feeling something new

Something new, something new

I don't wanna waste another night

If it's you, if it's you

Like you
