Bad Honey lyrics

Blue light

On the back of your hand

Cold glass

Sweating by the stand

Side-eye

From the corner booth

You lean close

Then you cut right through

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Gold in your grin

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Let me lean in

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

You turn with the beat

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Then slip out of reach

(Bad Honey)

Bad Honey, red bar, low red glow,

One hand on the glass and the other says no.

Black heel, tiled floor, bass in the wall,

She makes one small move and the whole room falls.

No name, no phone, no straight way through,

Just a half-smile hanging over something blue.

I came with a line, she let it sit there,

Took one slow drink like she didn’t care.

She likes the near miss, the look, the delay,

Makes a man lose time in the space she makes.

I almost called her bunny when she cut through the bar—

She ain’t my little bunny — she’s Bad Honey.

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Gold in your grin

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Let me lean in

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

You turn with the beat

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Then slip out of reach

Back door

Rain on the curb

Cab light

Blue through the blur

Your laugh

Caught in my coat

Bassline

Still in my throat

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

Gold in your grin

Bad Honey, Bad Honey

The night begins.
