• Made for: Midnight Mass @ The Soundry

• Task: Create sacred music dragged somewhere strange.

• Your track needs a recognizable element drawn from sacred,

devotional, spiritual, ceremonial or ritual music.

•Take that sacred element and smash it into another genre or musical world.

Give us ritual. Mystery. Unease. Transcendence. Darkness. Something beautiful that feels just slightly wrong.

Faith..

I don't have that any,

More..

I, I wish, I had the strength

To climb all the, bedrock I see

Before me, it feels, so steep,

Every foothold, underneath,

It, it keeps breaking loose,

under my feet, I hoped, something,

Was waiting, at the peak,

Now, I don't even know..

what I, seek

What, what, am I climbing for?...

Bury me, deep, six feet,

Into the earth,

bury me deep,

Six feet, let me sleep,

Coffin feels so, peaceful,

So so, just bury me deep,

I just want to, sleep

Just bury me deep..

Just, just... bury me

(bury me...)

So, so deep...

Just...

Let me sleep...

Is there anything, worth climbing for,

Anymore?, I keep looking, up,

At all these boulders, blocking, every way,

I try to move, around them,

Try to find, another way,

But every path, just seems to,

Lead me back, under, their weight,

I p-p-push one down,

Another one rolls, right, into me,

Knocks me further, from the peak,

Than where I used to be,

May-maybe, I should just,

Get, out of the, way,

Let, let, nature, have its way,

And let it,

Take me out of this...

What, what, am I climbing for?...

Bury me, deep, six feet,

Into the earth,

bury me deep,

Six feet, let me sleep,

Coffin feels so, peaceful,

So so, just bury me deep,

I just want to, sleep

Just bury me deep..

Just, just... bury me

(bury me...)

So, so deep...

Just...

Let me sleep...

I, I, want to climb, to the top,

Bring myself up, cast off, all this weight,

That is holding me, down, down here, beneath,

Every-every time I reach, it crumbles, underneath,

I, I want to believe, there, is something, worth

Reaching for, but, but I don't know,

If I got, that kind of,

Faith, anymore....

What, what, am I climbing for?...

Bury me, deep, six feet,

Into the earth,

bury me deep,

Six feet, let me sleep,

Coffin feels so, peaceful,

So so, just bury me deep,

I just want to, sleep

Just bury me deep..

Just, just... bury me

(bury me...)

So, so deep...

Just...

Let me sleep...

Just, just... bury me

(bury me...)

So, so deep...

Just...

Let me sleep...

Just, just... bury me

(bury me...)

So, so deep..

So, so...

Just bury...

Keep me buried...

Six feet, in the deep.
