WATERFALL - EllJay Mix

WATERFALL......

Waterfall.....

airy female whisper: "waterfall..."

pitched vocal echo: "fall... fall..."

Verse 1

I build myself up

soft ad-lib: "yeah..."

To sail through the weather

I spend the days trying

To make myself feel better

breathy echo: "feel better..."

Round the serpentine

Empty conversations

I’m not impressed by anyone

whispered ad-lib: "anyone..."

Friends say

I’m anxiously attached yeah

soft harmony: "attached yeah..."

Attached yeah

whisper: "attached..."

And ketamine won’t numb

My passion for ya

soft ad-lib: "no..."

I hope you know

That what you hold

Is a diamond

high airy harmony: "diamond..."

With a heart of gold

long harmony: "heart of gold..."

Pre-Chorus

whispered ad-lib: "come closer..."

reverse vocal swell

heartbeat-style vocal chop

2-step drums gradually entering

deep sub bass rising underneath

stacked airy harmonies building wider

build into explosive chorus

Chorus

Wash over like me a waterfall

airy harmony: "waterfall..."

Do what you want

whispered double: "do what you want..."

Just don’t let me go

soft ad-lib: "don't let me go..."

Until the Moon finally

Gives into the sun

high harmony: "into the sun..."

Look in your eyes

And they tell me one thing

echo: "one thing..."

That we should be more than friends

confident ad-lib: "more than friends..."

The universe conspired for us

To meet this way

echo: "this way..."

Meet this way, meet this way

Jersey Club vocal chop: "meet-meet / this-this way"

To meet this way

Meet this way, meet this way

pitched chop: "way-way-way"

Verse 2

I pay my bills

Got a house in the hills

soft ad-lib: "okay..."

Call up the Red Cross

Yeah, I’ma volunteer

playful ad-lib: "yeah, yeah..."

I do it all for you

And you just break me dear

soft ad-lib: "why you do me like that?"

Throw away our history

We could start from here

breathy echo: "from here..."
