Calabaza

Calabaza is the third taste of my upcoming EP, Disfraz! 🎃🖤 The full EP arrives this Friday evening, bringing five brand-new songs, a few surprises, and a Halloween night full of dancing, disguises, and playful mischief. So carve your pumpkins, put on your best disguise, and get ready to step into my little world of Halloween madness. Something wicked is brewing… 👻💃🕸️

(Calabaza… ah-ah)

Tiny orange pumpkins in a basket on my arm

Every boy who rolls up thinks he's got the charm

Number one walks in with cologne like a fog

Talks about his crypto and his workout log

Smile real sweet, put a pumpkin in his palm

Spin away - the beat drops like a bomb

Next in line, step right up

Bring your cheesy line and your plastic cup

I don't need your number, don't need your hand

Here's a little pumpkin - you understand

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

Aquí nadie me caza

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

La pista es mi plaza

Here's a pumpkin, honey - take it and go

That's the Spanish way of saying no

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

Aquí nadie me caza

Number two's a zombie, says I'm "to die for"

Pumpkin in his hand - now he's dead on the floor

Number three's a pirate, here to find my treasure

Pumpkin for the captain - it's been a pleasure

Number four's a cowboy, wants a two-step spin

Pumpkin on his hat - sorry, cowboy, you can't win

Got a full basket and the night is young

Every "calabaza" tastes sweet on my tongue

Next in line, step right up

Bring your cheesy line and your plastic cup

I don't need your number, don't need your hand

Here's a little pumpkin - you understand

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

Aquí nadie me caza

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

La pista es mi plaza

Here's a pumpkin, honey - take it and go

That's the Spanish way of saying no

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

Aquí nadie me caza

Then you show up - no costume, no speech

Hand me a drink and stay out of reach

Last little pumpkin - I keep it for me

You get something better - wait and see

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

Aquí nadie me caza

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

La pista es mi plaza

Pumpkins for the whole room - not for you

Here's a "sí," baby, and it's brand new

Calabaza, calabaza (ah-ah)

(Menos tú…)
